Thomas Wynn

Solid mahogany case, Chippendale style.

This cabinet, very rare, is made of solid mahogany. Very heavy hood. That was an expensive hobby. But if you look at this hood, unmistakably Chippendale style, you’ll understand. It might cost a bit. This cabinet may have been made by son & successor Thomas Chippendale II. The dial is fully silver plated with day and date display and indicates the high water times of Bristel Key. This one is also engraved: “High Water at Bristol Key”.

Tip: If you have a stately hall from the early twentieth century, then this is the clock you must have.
