Cabinet made of oak. This one is ebonised. Movement has hourly striking mechanism on bell.. The dial has a beautifully recessed engraved signature. The striking mechanism can be turned off (in the bedroom) if desired. Date and strike/no strike function are visible on the dial. Case door has a gilded frame, which makes the dial even more powerful. Gold-plated cabinet legs, top ornament, pinnacles and handle complete the whole.
